Elected to the Board of Fire Commissioners in November 2004. Born in Cleveland, OH in 1945 and the eldest of three sons. Attended the graduate school of business at the University of Cincinnati and Northeastern University. Married to Anne and has two grown children in Texas and Alabama. Relocated to Indian Rocks Beach in 2002 from Mystic, CT and currently mostly retired. Anne is an educator for the Pinellas County School District.

Worked in the hospitality industry for forty-four years commencing at age thirteen. Worked and lived in thirteen cities in the U.S. During his career. in management included airport concessions, hotel management and hotel development. Worked at senior management positions including COO and Chief Development Officer. Owned and operated an independent consulting practice prior to relocating to Florida.
