PARTNERSHIP OF SHARING

Christmas came early this year, November 18th to be exact, when Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue decided to make one of our most avid supporters, Bill Miller, an “Honorary Fire Chief.”

Mr. Miller is the funeral director for Mohn’s Funeral Home and is currently involved in many community activities and is an outstanding leader in the Seminole Kiwanis organization. He is also the owner of a 1948 Chevrolet antique fire truck, which is now shared by both his family members and Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue.

Upon presentation of the fire chief helmet and plaque, Bill was overwhelmed, embarrassed, emotional, grateful and proud. As in all of his relationships, this event will be long lasting.

We welcome and congratulate our “Honorary Fire Chief” Bill Miller, who will always be remembered in our hearts for his genuine love for the fire service and helping those in need.
