SAILING CLASSES - A SUCCESS!

Calvary Episcopal Church & Pinellas Suncoast Fire Rescue District Partnerships In Making A Positive Difference In Other People’s Lives!

What better way to make America strong than taking its greatest resources, “our seniors and our young”, mixing them with religion and government to provide stability in our lives.

Calvary Episcopal Church, under the tutelage of Reverend Robert A. Wagenseil, Jr., Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District, and those experienced sailors, have brought together 25 young people with a desire to learn to sail on God’s beautiful blue waters with the help of his soft breezes from across the Gulf.  What a pleasurable experience to say the least, complimented with kind expressions of learning to motivate oneself with the desire to do more with one’s life.  Furthermore, providing many with the desire to become better and one day, maybe have a boat of ones own; to look forward to some day competing with others in a “race of perfection”; looking back over the quality time we spent in practice, the people we met, the friends we made and the values we learned.

Together, we can make a difference.
